I’ve been in a creative mood. My web-designer and I have changed my website from custom code to custom wordpress theme. I have more than 3 dozen media backlinks (website link to article to website). I have music and channeling lyrics and finishing rewrites on my two scripts. I came up with a show idea and got a prime timeslot at Manhattan Neighborhood Network called “Marilyn Monroe’s Letters.” It’s about me living in Lake Arrowhead as a struggling artist that hears voices and believe that I am the late great icon with my aunt and computer guy being co-stars.
Lake Arrowhead is the most haunted place on the planet. It is an old logging and vacation resort town. There is tunnels under the lake that lives the ‘Black Annie’ being a passenger train that got stuck with hundreds of Chinese workers being trapped and died. It is said that their bones and train is where the disaster happened. Plus, Dannielle Van Damme’s body was REALLY discovered on highway 138, when her father went to the Lake Arrowhead gun range the weekend following her disappearance buried it.
Marilyn Monroe is the real star of the 28 minutes’ series on MNN.org, channel 3, Wednesdays at 7:30-8-EST. There are five acts in each episode. Marilyn is in her robe on her staircase being filmed through a key hole to her writing letters on the lake beach talking to herself (voiceovers). Marilyn goes to local store owners being friends and relatives talking about her plans being good or bad. Marilyn shares TikTok videos and each act has two 30 second commercials in between. Cortney ends with talking to Marilyn in the mirror the moral of her thoughts and/or letter.
I haven’t asked my aunt yet or my computer friend, if they can spare 10 minutes of their time weekly. I’m planning on doing 4 minute acts with each. I haven’t spoken to my neighbor, but I figure the 4th character is my alter ego; ‘Glossy.’ I’m going to ask my co-stars to call me Marilyn, because I look just like her, just older. Thank Goddess!
The series will be filmed on Webcammax and two iPhones. It gives me something to do and my goal is to enter my 4 best shows from the series for an Emmy. I’ll not get a Grammy for my album, but can produce a way better show than what is out there now. Mark my word, or bookmark, this letter. I will sew my own gown, if I get nominated for an Emmy Award and go to the ceremony.
